A-Town Aces

This Saturday is the Meltdown tournament at Veteran’s Park in Arlington, hosted by the A-town Aces.  This is an amateur event and a great tournament for new comers!  We will play 2 18-hole rounds at Veteran’s Park and have a whole bunch of mini-games going on.  There will be 3 different Ace Pot’s there, making it possible to score big on an Ace!  We will have raffle prizes, several CTP’s and lots of disc giveaways.  We will be cooking out Hot Dogs on the grill and having a great time playing the sport we love the most!

We are also asking that everybody bring out your old shoes that are just lying around in your closet for the Funkytown Flyer’s Project Sole Shoe Drive.

Registration is from 7:30am to 8:30am on Saturday morning, players meeting at 8:30am, tournament starts at 9:00am.  Tournament Divisions are as follows; Recreation $30, Intermediate $40, Advanced $40, Masters $40, and Women’s $30.

The 3 Ace Pots at the Meltdown:
The Meltdown Ace Pot – $5 of each tournament participants registration fee goes into the Meltdown Ace Pot.  If nobody hits this Ace Pot it will go to a Closest to the Pin and someone will go home with this money!

A-Town Aces Ace Pot – join A-Town Aces to be a part of this Ace Pot.  $5 dollars for a Bag Tag, and $15 for your first Ace Pot entry.  It is then $2.00 for every ace pot after that until someone hits the A-Town Ace Pot.

And the Traveling Ace Pot.  Specific to holes announced on Tournament day.

We will have several mini-games going on including; Ring of Fire, CTPs, Longest Putt Competition (wins a practice basket), Longest Drive Competition (for cash), and more…
